Today, most people in U.S. and Canada are celebrating the festive occasion of Thanksgiving day. Americans and Canadians celebrate this day by meeting up with their family members and friends offer their gratitude to Almighty God for all the mercies and blessings he has showered all through the year.
Collectively with Christmas celebration and New Year, Thanksgiving Day is a part of the broader holiday season. The traditional way of celebrating this day starts with cutting an over-roasted turkey which is the main dish on the menu for Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone gather around the table, give thanks, and offer prayer before feasting. It is celebrated with the same pomp as Christmas. Traditionally, friends and family members also say thanks to each other for all their support, and help.
